HONDA

Honda is the car manufacturer that drew me into automotive performance. When I was approaching driving age my brother and his high school best friend (now a respected automotive journalist) were hatching a plan to stuff a B16A motor into a 1989 Honda CRX. I couldn't help but absorb the information I heard my brother and his friend James discussing. I also eventually built a hybrid Honda of my own. I learned quite a few things along the way. I took some time to document the details of a few hurdles I cleared. I have since moved on from my Hondas, but I hope there are people new to the scene who might find the information I gathered to be a bit useful.

NISSAN

I came to know more about Nissan vehicles after my Honda owning period. I worked with cars in NASA's former SE-R Cup race series. I even have my own Nissan 200SX SE-R project car, but it has been dormant for some years due to my employment with GM and other life events that have taken priority. I also worked with an R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R in the SCCA Speed World Challenge GT race series. With all the hours spent on the R34 GT-R I got to know that car and the RB26DETT motor quite well. I pulled apart a few RB26 motors along with Getrag and Holinger transmissions. However, not as many went back together as those that came apart. I observed and absorbed information from the premier Skyline expert in North America, Sean Morris, who is also now my husband. I have even come to know Mr. Hiroshi Tamura who was the product planner for the R34 GT-R. He probably knows that car better than anyone and is a real enthusiast.

Below are some links to information sources.

Skyline GT-R
My husband, Sean Morris, has compiled a lot of his Skyline and GT-R information into website's of his own. Sean is also very helpful to anyone with GT-R questions. He is responsive to e-mails and posts on variety of message boards.
